What are the symptoms of BPH?
In general, the symptoms all relate to urination patterns.

This means that you may experience some or all the situations described below:

• A sudden strong need to urinate, without being able    to hold back

• Getting up several times during the night to urinate

• Urinary stream might be weak, thin and/or dribbling

• Irregular delay in beginning of urination

• Feeling of still needing to urinate even after the

  stream has stopped

• Pain or a burning sensation during urination

• Sudden discontinuation of urination

General telltale signs that you should not disregard:
• If you are tired during the day due to many

  bathroom visits at night

• If you are avoiding drinking in the evening, so as to

decrease amount of bathroom visits at night

• If you find yourself thinking twice before engaging in

regular sports or any other regular activity

• If your stress levels increase when you are in

situation where you know that going to the bathroom

might be a problem, such as flights, important

  meetings…

If you encounter any of the situations described above, you have probably reached the stage that your prostate is in charge of you instead of the other way around…

What is the role of the Prostate?
The main role of the prostate is to produce the fluid which supports the semen. The prostate produces about half of the fluid which is emitted during the male orgasm.

Where is the Prostate gland situated and why can it affect your urination pattern?
The prostate is a small gland situated under the male bladder and belongs to the male sexual system. The prostate encompasses the upper part of the urethral tube (the tube through which urine passes from the bladder outside). When the prostate is enlarged, it presses on the urethral tube and causes changes in urination.

Prostate aging & the development of BPH:
The prostate gland, which grows during early puberty and then again around age 30, becomes enlarged in many men around the age of 50. This enlargement can pinch your urethra, the tube that carries urine from your bladder through your penis and your bladder walls may also grow thicker (see picture below).

The enlargement of the male prostate gland as men age is referred as Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia, in short- BPH. Every other man over the age of 50 is affected by BPH and by the time they reach 80 the ratio rises to four out of five men. Though it is a very common part of the male aging process it, BPH is a considerably uncomfortable condition which can become progressively worse, especially if left untreated.

Three months ago I started using Brizo, I was just so tired of getting up every night time and time again to just stand infront of the toilet and wait... After a few weeks I noticed great improvement and started sleeping soundly again. Great product, cannot reccomend it enough.
